A few word from the homeowner:
"The theme of this home is magic, Rune Keeper magic; the power to immolate, summon (well, we can summon rune stones...) and yet also to heal and resurrect.
While countless hours have been spent indoors, hunched over lore books and wrestling with wild powers, the garden has been left to run wild."

One of my favourite house of the contest. Incredibly good use of Mordor items (and another lover of “wild” gardens, yay ! )
Thank you for visiting and the kind words! I thought the same thing re “wild” gardens when I visited your home ^_^
I really liked the entrance of this one! Very dramatic. Nice use of bookcases and candelabras, I especially liked the room with all the blue windows and reflecting pools. This house is definitely one of my favorites!
Plus you’ve got a Cat shrine! So obviously I’ll have to give you a 10 just for that. 🙂
Aha! All my homes have cat shrines of various sorts 🙂 After seeing Khaotils cat dishes and cushions I think I’ll give them a revisit though!
Thank you very much for visiting and taking the time to comment, I was absolutely going for dramatic with this one XD
I agree with Khaotil and Razorblaze. This is a really cool-looking and well-themed house.
Thank you Rhuangar! I feel so silly for only noticing now that we can comment. I visited your home over the weekend but added my comment to your home listing now 🙂
I love this house! And I hate blocked-off rooms, and overly dramatic use of strong colors, and … But, this house is an extraordinary ‘themed’ house, and everything works very well. Clever item overlays (so many!), impressive collection of unique and rare items, interesting and subtle use of color, very very well done. And the yard is in a tie for First Place! Love the yard. Thank you so very much for making me see more interesting options for themed houses. 🙂
Now that I’ve discovered the comment functionality (Doh) I’ve left quite a few in response to yours, but just wanted to say thank you again for taking the time to visit and for such positive feedback! Decorating is a very solo exercise for me in LOTRO, it’s a nice feeling to connect with others once in a while through something like this 🙂
